Concerts
My Concerts
If there is one thing that makes me confident in a music program, it is the story that it tells. When this idea is clear in my mind, I am convinced that a program is ready.
Music is a vector of communication, and this is the first aspect to consider. It can talk about an event, a feeling, even invoke pagan spirits or talk about God. I try to build my Concerts around this idea.
A concert makes sense as a whole and shouldn't be considered as single pieces.
This is my idea of live music, and this music I want to bring throughout my guitar."
"World
Music
on a
Classical Guitar"
"World Music on a Classical Guitar" is a program that have built over the years. It focuses on cultures and their traditions. Modern composers have often delved into the rich layers of popular folk music, exploring and reimagining its essence. This program honors their work and celebrates the diverse musical heritage they have brought to life. The music is based on simple structures, as it is folk traditional music, but its message and power are at the highest level of expression. It doesn't follow a geographical order but jumps all around the world. So we might find a Japanese song after Greek music, or a Brazilian Choro before an Irish dance. I believe this is one of the best parts: the music merges perfectly without imposing, and this aspect shows us how music is a world language with no barriers or limits.
